Apollo Alarm and status panels
AIO-168, 16 input alarm panel with relay outputs
The AIO-168 has 16 alarm inputs. The module complies with the UL Grade "A" line
supervision requirements and provides higher security because it distinguishes
the following zone statuses: no alarm, alarm, zone fault (open, short, ground or
circuit fault). The AIO-168 has 8 on-board relays that can be linked to inputs
or controlled from a host. Input-only and output-only versions are also
available.
APA-15, alarm input panel
The APA-15 provides 15 alarm inputs. It supports the 16-output relay module
ARM-16 than allows input to output linkage or relay control from a host. The
unit meets UL Grade "A" analog line supervision requirements. The APA-15 had
database for off-line event storage.
APA-16, alarm input panel
The APA-16 provides 16 grade "B" alarm inputs. It is a perfect solution for
elevator control with floor selection feedback (requires ARM-16).
APD-16, digital alarm input panel
Traditional analog alarm panels with grade A or B inputs cannot detect attempts
to substitute equipment or introduce prerecorded data. The APD-16 alarm input
module provides this added dimension in high line security. Used with ATD-16
transceivers it foils attempts to compromise line security by both substitution
of equipment and introduction of prerecorded data. The APD-16 and ATD-16 meet UL
Grade AA line supervision standards.
ASA-72, alarm status panel
The ASA-72 provides a simple way to display alarms. One ASA-72 panel can display
status of up to four alarm panels. The unit has 72 labeled tri-color LEDs that
can be associated with the alarm zones. Color of an LED indicates status of the
zone (green - normal, red - alarm, orange - trouble). If the user does not want
to use a PC for alarm monitoring the ASA-72 status panel is a perfect solution.
It also can be used as a back up for PC.
Apollo Reader Interfaces
AIM-2DL, 2-door interface with local database
AIM-2DL is a 2-reader interface with local database. The module supports most
identification technologies: magnetic stripe, proximity, fingerprint, hand
geometry, barcode, long range infrared and others . The AIM-2DL can store up to
3000 cardholder records and up to 2500 events in its memory. The AIM-2DL has
terminations for connection of one or two Wiegand interface readers complete
with two LED lines and a buzzer control line. Optional UPK-AIM2 filmware upgrade
for changing APN-35 memory and transforming APN-35 controller to AIM-2DL
interface is available.
AIM-1SL, Downloadable Single Door Interface with local database
AIM-1SL is a downloadable single door interface for use with all major reader
technologies including magnetic stripe, proximity, Wiegand, keypads, biometrics,
long range infrared, bar code and others. The local database provides for
storage up to 20,000 cardholder records and 7000 events even if the interface is
off-line. The AIM-1SL includes downloadable database, four inputs and outputs,
supervised inputs, flash memory and support for two readers interfacing with a
single door strike.
AIM-4SL, 4-reader interface with local database
AIM-4SL is a complete 4-reader interface with a downloadable database. The
module supports most identification technologies: proximity, barcode, biometric,
Wiegand, infrared and other readers with standard Wiegand output. The AIM-4SL
can store up to 20000 cardholders and 7000 events in its memory. The unit
provides door contact, reader tamper, exit button and auxiliary inputs as well
as strike and auxiliary relay outputs for all 4 doors. The AIM-4SL has an option
of digitally supervised outputs for high security installations.
AIM-4, 4-reader interface
AIM-4 is a complete 4-reader interface between Apollo's controllers and 4
readers of different technologies: proximity, Wiegand, infrared, bar code,
biometrics and others. The unit provides door contact, reader tamper, exit
button and auxiliary inputs as well as strike and auxiliary relay outputs for
all 4 doors.
API, 1-reader interface
The API module provides complete interface between Apollo's controllers to one
standard reader (Wiegand or Clock/Data output). The API monitors door contact,
exit push button, alarm input. It also controls door strike and up to 3
auxiliary relay outputs. The unit offers more cost effective solution and easier
wiring than the AIM-4 interface if only one readers need to be connected.
ADA-10/11, digital door strike control
Digital door strike control modules ADA-10/11 are used in applications where
secure control of remote loads such as door strikes is required. In most access
control systems, the wiring between the door strike and the card reader
controller is a vulnerable point. An intruder needs only apply voltage or ground
at this point to control the strike. The ADA module can be mounted in the
protected area near the strike with only the digital signal going to the strike
location. Thus control of the strike is removed from the reader and protected
between the access controller and strike.
ADA-20/21, relays with toggle and timer features
Like the ADA-10/11 models, the ADA-20/21 provide digital relay control. The
ADA-20/21 have 2 relays that can be used for strike control and auxiliary
output. They also have RS-485 connectors to make reader wiring easier. The
ADA-21 has DIPswitch selectable toggle or cumulative modes.
Apollo Proximity & Contactless Smart Card Readers
AP-600/700 Readers with RS-485 interface
The AP-600/700 reader, with its RS-485 interface, is typically used as a slave
reader with Apollo AAN-32/100 master controllers or as an OEM reader. Up to 96
readers can be multi-dropped from the AAN-100 controller. RS-485 reader systems
are significantly more cost effective because they do not require installation
and wiring of any door controllers (reader interfaces) or their associated power
supplies and enclosures. Since all door wiring is short and terminates at the
reader, the system is more reliable and makes installation and maintenance
easier. The AP-600 is capable of reading proximity cards. The AP-700 is capable
of reading contactless smart cards.
Apollo Magnetic & Infrared Readers
AP-501/502, Low Cost Magnetic Readers
The AP-501/502 read high-energy magnetic stripe cards or standard credit cards.
The readers are available with industry standard Wiegand and Clock/Data output,
compatible with many OEM access systems. They also serve as low cost slave
readers for Apollo controllers (API/AIM interfaces required). There is a wide
variety of finishes available to match any office interior.
AP-510/520, Intelligent Magnetic Readers with RS-485 Interface
The AP-510/520 readers provide significant cost savings in installation cost. Up
to 96 readers can be connected to one AAN-100 controller on RS-485 bus. The
AP-510/520 readers provide door contact, strike control, exit button, reader
tamper, auxiliary inputs and outputs. Therefore all door wiring is done locally
and there is only one RS-485 communication cable going to the controller
AP-511/521, Elevator Control Reader
The elevator control feature allows the control of floor selection by
identifying the person wishing to access a controlled floor, based on their
access rights to the floor. Access is further controlled by the time of day, day
of week, holiday schedule. The AP-511/521 card readers provide controlled access
to 32 floors (4 AEL elevator control modules required). Proximity, biometric and
other readers may also be used for elevator control with Apollo systems.
AP-500, Magnetic Card Reader with Downloadable Database
The AP-500 provides an access system with added security by furnishing the third
level of database redundancy. The reader can download full or partial database
and function independently if the communication with the controller is broken.
AP-500 is capable of storing up to 20000 cardholders and 6500 events. We
recommend using AP-500 where high level of security is required.
AP-IRT/IRC, Infrared Received and Transmitter
Apollo's infrared system is an ideal long-range vehicle identification solution
for parking gates. Transmitter can be operated from inside a vehicle without
stopping or lowering the windows. This increases the security of the vehicle and
its occupants. Multiple receivers can be mounted relatively close to each other
without unintentional activation of more than one, since it operates via line of
sight. The AP-IRT/IRC can be incorporated into a large access system or operate
in stand-alone mode.
